Bibliographic data from various authors were consulted to complement the theoretical support of the conceptual framework of the project. A methodological procedure was developed in which the phases and stages of the research and design process of the tourist complex were structured, for which a market study was carried out in which supply and demand were characterized through a diagnosis. The results of this diagnosis showed that the construction of a tourist complex in the Babahoyo canton is possible. To analyze the possible impacts caused in the environment by the implementation of the complex, it was necessary to carry out an environmental study in the area selected for construction. Costs were also determined through a financial study. The results of these studies showed that the implementation of a tourist complex with food and recreation services is possible. The investigation showed that the implementation of said complex will allow the development of tourism in the Babahoyo canton through the influx of local and foreign visitors |
