סיכום:It is the time when television, videogames and internet consume time and the attraction of children and adolescents, it is very common to observe this population completely devoted to this type of distractions, are times when reading seems to be more and more away from childhood, facing fierce technology competition. In the present research work, the influence of children's libraries on the habit of reading in children of the second year of the María Luisa School of Basic Education of Sotomayor was analyzed, for which the methodology formed by methods such as scientific, inductive, deductive, the documentary and field modality, in which the observation techniques, surveys and interviews are applied to two professors and 67 students respectively. Evidence that the institution does not have children's libraries, are arranged with other strategies to access children's books, there are limitations in the reading of children, in the same way no specific amounts of daily hours are allocated to children's reading, which is not encourages the habit of reading in children, which is why and after the respective discussion of the collected data, it is suggested that a Practical Guide be created for the creation of children's libraries in educational institutions, to strengthen the habit of reading in boys and girls.
