Summary:he Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion (MIES), through Supreme Decree No. 3815, published in the official register of June 12, 1980, created the Ministry of Social Welfare, which later became known as the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion, President of the Republic, Rafael Correa signed Executive Decree No. 1356, through which he arranged the institutional restructuring. In this way, the Institute for Children and Families (INFA) and the Social Protection Program (PPS) will be integrated into the MIES, with the objective of promoting and promoting the economic and social inclusion of the population, in order to ensure the achievement of an adequate quality of life for all citizens, by eliminating those conditions, mechanisms or processes that restrict the freedom to participate in the economic, social and political life of the community
