It is essential that binocular alterations be determined at an early age since the treatment differs according to the cause that has caused it, in addition to the in the case of myopia, distance vision is affected and also presents characteristic symptoms and signs such as frowning, getting too close to reading, turning or tilting the head, often frontal pain and dizziness all over This is detrimental to the patient's eye health. The objective of this clinical case is to determine the cause of the binocular dysfunction secondary school, for this objective and subjective examinations were carried out to assess their visual range, in addition to complementary exams such as ophthalmoscopy, test Worth lights, Risley prism. Inductive deductive methods, descriptive retrospective data and observational studies of the patient, finding as a result that a moment to another he began to suffer from diplopia and dry eyes, which caused headache, tearing and redness of the eyes, after a meticulous study of the examinations and optometric diagnosis, it is concluded that the secondary binocular dysfunction that the patient presents is diplopia and ocular dryness accompanied by an exophoria where the causal agent is a contraceptive. |
