Shrnutí: | This present research work was carried out on the farms of the “San Pablo” Farm belonging to the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the Technical University of Babahoyo located at Km 7.5 of the Babahoyo-Montalvo road demonstrating as experimentation objectives to evaluate the agronomic behavior of four corn hybrids (Zea mays L.), in the area of Babahoyo, Province of the Rivers. (a) Determine which hybrid has the highest field production (b) Establish the best planting distance with effect on grain yield. (c) Perform an economic analysis of the treatments under study. The treatments were structured with four corn hybrids with two planting distances, which were the following: T1 Victor446Y (0.80 x 0.20 m), T2 Victor446Y (0.70 x 0.15 m), T3 ADV-9139 (0 , 80 x 0.20 m), T4 ADV-9139 (0.70 x 0.15 m), T5 DK-7508 (0.80 x 0.20 m), T6 DK-7508 (0.70 x 0.15 m), T7 DAS-3383 (0.80 x 0.20 m), T8 DAS-3383 (0.70 x 0.15 m). The split plot design was used with three repetitions, with the Tukey significance test at 5%. The data that were evaluated were: height of the plant to harvest, height of insertion of the ear, days of flowering, numbers of rows of grains per ear, numbers of grains per ear, length of the ear, weight of 100 grains, grain / tuza ratio, yield per hectare, economic analysis. The results show that the highest grain yield was obtained in the DK-7508 hybrid planted at 95 238 plants / ha (0.70 x 0.15 m) |
