סיכום:The reading is mainly oriented to enrich the ludic and creative capacity of the subjects in the entire teaching-learning process of the language, as well as to encourage the development of thought, the critical spirit, the exercise of the criterion, the interpretation and the evaluation , it is therefore necessary to generate strategies aimed at encouraging reading from an early age. The ability to read, along with those of writing, listening and speaking are the basic capabilities of communication. In spite of that, reading is not an activity that is restricted to the classroom; transcends the school environment, therefore it is necessary to form habits that allow its application at all times, in this research study is intended to generate strategies to help teachers to encourage the habit of reading in students, for which the shows oriented to the students and teachers of the 3 year of basic, the same that was collected documentary and field information through observation, surveys and interviews. Once obtained the results of analyzed, discussed and interpreted determining that there is demotivation in students for reading and that teachers have few methodological alternatives for its application, for which reason it is necessary to put into practice the following theoretical proposal, which consists of development of an application manual for the creation of reading corners in the classroom
