Zusammenfassung:When we talk about issues related to the Internet, we expose ourselves to a fairly common issue, but which at the same time carries a high level of ignorance about its source and the notable alteration in behavior, a consequent effect of the excessive use of technological means, the which are promoted as tools, but when they were developed they entered an environment of manipulation and addiction, leading their users to excessive and uncontrolled consumption of their platforms. Being the promotion of harmful behaviors such as guilt, dissatisfaction, anxiety among others, which are guided by massive misinformation managed by algorithms and that have been dominating the human mind without being aware of it. This work describes a clinical intervention that aimed to detect excessive exposure to technological devices and its influence on the behavior of a twelve-year-old boy. The evaluation and treatment were guided from the cognitive-behavioral model and different methods and techniques have been used for data collection, such as the interview and clinical history and observation. The therapeutic intervention proposal was made up of three phases: first, the instructional stage that promotes the development of contingency management in the child and his mother so that they can confront the adversities to which they will be exposed. Secondly, we have the intervention stage where resolution techniques will be managed and the prevention phase that seeks to avoid the development of harmful behaviors.
