總結: | Sociocultural factors consist of processes associated with social and cultural components of a community or society. These last elements are rooted in a specific community and can be accepted or recognized by the people who make it up. The objective of this research is to evaluate the impact of Socio-Cultural factors on the Academic performance of 2nd year students of Basic General Education of the Simón Bolívar Millennium Educational Unit, Babahoyo canton, Pimocha parish, period 2024-2025. The methodology used was a non-experimental design and a mixed approach. The types of research were documentary, descriptive and field. For its part, the investigative techniques were: find parents, interview with teacher and observation sheet, so the following instruments were required: survey questionnaire, interview and observation sheet. The population was made up of all the children who are part of the second year of basic education of the Simón Bolívar Millennium Educational Unit, which according to reports from the institution are 34 infants. The results allowed us to conclude that: The main socio-cultural factors that affect the academic performance of the 2nd year students of basic general education of the Simón Bolívar Millennium Educational Unit, Babahoyo canton, Pimocha parish, period 2024-2025, are: the situation family economic, parental support in the educational process and residence of children. |
