Aprovechamiento de la danza folklorica de los Mojigos como aporte al turismo de Jujan

In recent years, tourism has boomed worldwide, moving masses of people to the remotest place, helping socio-economic growth, increasing jobs, showing an improved effigy and attracting tourists. Of the different types of tourism in existence, cultural tourism is appreciated as an alternative tourism since it focuses on elements of culture, traditions, ancestral knowledge of each nationality, town or ethnic group, becoming intangible cultural heritage assets, offered to the tourist market. This research is based on the use of the Mojigos Folk Dance as a contribution to the tourism of Jujan, with the purpose of strengthening it, inciting the benefit, approval and authority as a cultural tourist attraction. Its objective is the recognition and positioning at the national level, by promoting Cultural Tourism through the Dance of the Mojigos it will be possible to obtain an influx of tourists from national and international level, therefore achieving socio-economic growth , ethnic, cultural of the Alfredo Baquerizo Moreno - Jujan Canton, leaving antecedents in a real way before other provinces of Ecuador, rescuing the traditions, customs and ancestral knowledge for the growth of Cultural Tourism. By spreading the Dance of the Mojigos to other cantons, a greater influx of tourism to the canton would be covered, with this case study the inhabitants of this sector would benefit by acquiring more knowledge about Cultural Tourism. By making promotional posters that the Mojigos de Jujan obtain recognition as an intangible cultural heritage.
