| Özet: | The present research work addressed the topic related to the Google Classroom platform as a teaching and learning tool for high school students in computer science at the “Vinces” Educational Unit. For this purpose, the starting point was a problem that showed that ICTs are not being adequately incorporated in the institution, proving to be a weak point for the academic performance of students, which is why the research aimed to determine the impact of Google Classroom as a learning tool in the academic performance and participation of high school students in computer science at the “Vinces” Educational Unit. The methodology used included a mixed approach, with a descriptive, exploratory and explanatory level, where the research source was documentary, the sample included simple random sampling, obtaining a total of 170 students to whom a survey on ICTs and Google was applied. Classroom. The results showed that the students have a medium-high level of knowledge about information and communication technologies and their importance and also that the implementation of Google Classroom allows them to have better control over the study materials and better interaction between students. teachers and students. Finally, this research concluded that the variables are related to each other and the hypothesis was proven that the Google Classroom tool has a positive impact on the academic performance of students, making it necessary to carry out periodic evaluations to guarantee effective learning. |
