The rationale for this study lay in the preliminary observation that, despite the growing importance of digital marketing, there were significant gaps in the implementation and effectiveness of DITOSA's strategies, potentially limiting its growth and success in the local market. To identify these deficiencies, define more effective digital marketing strategies and evaluate their impact on DITOSA's market positioning, a mixed methodological approach was adopted. This approach combined qualitative and quantitative analysis of data collected through surveys of consumers and marketing personnel.

DITOSA, ubicada en la ciudad de Babahoyo, buscó profundizar en la comprensión de las deficiencias y oportunidades dentro de sus estrategias de marketing digital. En un mercado cada vez más competitivo, la necesidad de optimizar estas estrategias se convierte en una prioridad para asegurar un posicionamiento sólido y una ventaja competitiva duradera. La justificación de este estudio radicó en la observación preliminar de que, a pesar de la creciente importancia del marketing digital, existían lagunas significativas en la implementación y efectividad de las estrategias de DITOSA, lo que potencialmente limitaba su crecimiento y éxito en el mercado local.
