الملخص:This document dealt with aluminum toxicity, as a limiting microelement for agricultural production. Aluminum toxicity can cause growth alterations in plants, effects on membrane permeability and nutritional and vacuolar content alterations, therefore it can cause certain metabolic and physiological variations produced in root cells as the primary site of action. of metal, thus obtaining a general and coherent idea of what is proposed as the functioning of certain tolerance mechanisms in these varieties and an explanation of some of the effects produced by aluminum. Due to the details, it was determined that the studies related to aluminum toxicity are focused especially on crops such as rice, corn, wheat and vegetables; It is possible to achieve the reduction of the toxic effects of Al3 + and to maintain a balanced nutrition of the cultivated plants, by applying lime to the soil; Al3 + toxicity is the most limiting factor for plant growth and development in acid soils, especially if the pH is ˂ 5.0; root elongation establishes a clear definition regarding the tolerance of the different varieties to metal; the different concentrations of aluminum affect the elongation of the root; the root aluminum concentration is clearly higher than that found in the aerial part of the plant and the levels of aluminum in the soil had an effect on production.
