For the experimental work in the greenhouse, the Marketmore variety cucumber was used as planting material, considered as treatments the drop to one stem, these pruning treatments evaluated with 10 repetitions. The comparison of the averages will be carried out with the Tukey test at 5% probability, the data evaluated were days to flowering, presence of male flowers, days to the beginning of picking, days to the beginning of cutting, commercial production and fruit quality. . The number of fruits per plant in Treatment B, with crop drop to two stems, eliminating the apical point of the main stem at the beginning of the drop, leaving two lateral arms, was higher compared to treatments A and C, its implementation being recommended for presenting also a greater diameter in the fruit. |
