The number of fruits per plant in Treatment B, with crop drop to two stems, eliminating the apical point of the main stem at the beginning of the drop, leaving two lateral arms, was higher compared to treatments A and C, its implementation being recommended for presenting also a greater diameter in the fruit.

Para el trabajo experimental en invernadero se empleó como material de siembra el pepino variedad Marketmore, considerado como tratamientos el descuelgue a un tallo, estos tratamientos de poda evaluados con 10 repeticiones. La comparación de los promedios se efectuará con la prueba de Tukey al 5% de probabilidad, los datos evaluados fueron días a floración, presencia de flores masculinas, días a inicio de descuelgue, días a inicio de corte, producción comercial y calidad del fruto. .
