Summary:This document contains information collected about innovation in agriculture as a key process for sustainable development in Ecuador. It contributes to productivity, sustainability, economic diversification and social inclusion, which benefits both farmers and the country as a whole. In addition, it strengthens Ecuador's position in international markets and promotes the conservation of the natural environment. Through the implementation of technological innovations that contribute positive results to the agricultural sector, thus meeting the different demands that arise in the different areas of agriculture, thus obtaining high quality products with lower production costs, in turn increasing the profitability of farmers. The objective of this bibliographic research is to describe the use of technological innovations used in agriculture for sustainable development, which has provided an important contribution to improving agricultural processes. It is prepared by compiling information obtained from websites, scientific journals, dissertations, Google Scholar, etc. This allowed us to have updated information according to the topic raised. The results obtained were based on the appropriate uses of technological innovations that can help improve agricultural efficiency and in turn crop management, improving farmer productivity. Where it was concluded that innovation is considered one of the engines of economic growth and prosperity of countries, benefiting both large and small producers and thus promoting more efficient and profitable production with adequate management of natural resources.
