Riassunto:Stress is known as a response in the body to either physical or emotional tension, and various health problems are attributed to it. In the present case, the focus is on stress and its incidence in an adult over 74 years of age, considering stress as a social risk and the relationship that exists with the family environment. The main objective of this work was to identify stressful situations in an adult over 74 years of age and their incidence in the family environment, for this it was essential to collect information related to the subject and to the subject under study, such as the clinical history, medical record, observation, anamnesis, in the same way, it was possible to identify through the use of techniques and instruments the level of stress in the elderly person and its incidence in their family environment, finally, the results of the level of stress and a proposal that contributes to the subjects studied. It was evidenced that the signs and symptoms presented by the patient are the trigger for the direct consequences for which she presents epileptic seizures. The main reasons for the patient's stress have to do with situations related to the relationship with social, economic and family factors, specifically economic factors, in the elderly they are one of the greatest causes of stress, since, paying for food, clothing and access to basic services are expensive. The investigation carried out is concluded as positive, since there is a relationship between the two variables, based on the information obtained. For the observation of qualitative and quantitative data, clinical observation, interviews, anger and aggressiveness test, and finally the Dass-21 test, were used to measure the level of depression, stress and anxiety.
