Samenvatting:Often parents involved in the education of their children through the task. The review focused on understanding why parental involvement in their children's homework, what strategies they use, and how participation contributes to student learning. The review supported the theoretical arguments that parents choose to participate in the task because they believe they should be involved, believe that their participation will make a positive difference in their children's learning, and perceive that their participation is invited, wait, and valued by school personnel. The review also suggests that parents are involved in a wide range of activities in this effort, since the establishment of the basic structures for the performance tasks to complex efforts focused on teaching for understanding and help students develops strategies effective learning. Participation in student assignments can be influenced by various members of the school community: teachers, professionals who work with students and families before and after school programs and parent leaders. After school providers often ideally placed to act as a communication bridge between home and school on topics related to student learning and homework position. The following suggestions focus on how teachers can involve parents in the task and how they can harness the potential of after school staff and parent leaders in supporting the participation of the duties of parents.
