| סיכום: | Introduction: Objectively determine when performing optometric evaluations to children and with good management of optometric clinical practice facilitates the recognition of the good condition or illness of our patients who involve it perform a full routine evaluation where the system is evaluated visual, obtaining in this way an accurate diagnosis and knowing the origin of signs and signals takes us to a time to the presence of any visual anomaly, especially the presence of anisometropias. Objective: Promote the assessment of the Visual System routinely, at least once every year, to detect a time Ametropias that cause vision problems, such as incidences of anisometropias and therefore in the academic development of children from 5 to 8 years, encouraging this initiative, to create programs of visual school control, in which it is possible to participate in the cognitive part and the parents in interest of the vision of their children or representatives. Material and methods: the examination of the observational, descriptive type, with the aim of the visual environment of the student in the context of the anisometropia, encasillándolas and the suitable work. Results: In our investigation, analyzing the distribution of frequency and percentage of presence of Anisometropias, we reflected a 10% incidence, especially in children of 5 years and whose school performance was regular, in the other ages the academic performance was good, it does not arrive an excellent being for the presence of this condition in his visual system, determining our sample of 100 children 59% presented visual problems. It should be noted that 49% of the students evaluated in our study did not present Ametropia. Conclusions: Bearing in mind the fact that the Anisometropías is still present in a low percentage, it will produce a high damage in the eyesight of the child that will affect the academic development, which is not good. Binocular vision, therefore it must be taken the corrective measures as soon as possible once the anisometropía has been detected. |
