Nutritional follow-up of one month is given and the general objective of the present study was achieved. |

Teniendo en cuenta que es un embarazo de alto riesgo debido a la diabetes gestacional y el sobrepeso, existe diversas complicaciones, tanto en la madre como en el hijo. Durante el transcurso del desarrollo del caso clínico se determinó del estado nutricional del paciente a través de los métodos antropométrico, bioquímico, clínico y dietético, dando como diagnóstico inicial IMC preconcepcional sobrepeso y diabetes gestacional. Ante esto se prescribe un plan de alimentación, de acuerdo a sus condiciones fisiopatológicas y necesidades nutricionales del paciente.
