Ամփոփում:The document detailed the information on the influence of humic and fulvic acids as an alternative for the management of soils affected by acidity in the corn crop, in Ecuador. The cultivation of corn is one of the main crops in the country, due to its demand and volume of production; In addition, the amount of products that are generated from this crop are used for human and animal nutrition and industrial use. Humic and fulvic acids are complex organic molecules, formed by the decomposition of organic matter, which directly influences soil fertility, influencing the absorption of nutrients and therefore adequate plant growth. The conclusions determine that humic acids solve the different effects that occur in soils such as salinization, calcification, decrease in fertility and destruction of useful microorganisms, increase in erosion and desertification, presence of diseases, accumulation of toxic residues due to the application of chemicals; The effects that humic acids cause in the soil is that if the soil is clayey, its structure and aeration are improved, thus its permeability is increased, which allows plants to improve their metabolic activities and germination power; In the roots, their absorption capacity improves, which together with the photosynthesis of the leaves increases the vigor and productivity and the low yield of the corn crop is due to the lack of application of humic acids with adequate doses during the crop cycle, which which has made it essential to apply products based on humic and fulvic acids to improve development.
