The purpose of the investigative work with which this final report began was to examine how the risk factors affect the rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in those who go to the Los Ríos Sports Federation. In the course of carrying out the research, different empirical and theoretical methods of scientific research have been applied, with regard to the collection of data and subsequent analysis of results obtained in the research in all stages of scientific work. He used both mathematical and statistical methods in processing the information obtained, giving it the scientific value required. The diagnosis initially obtained was the justification given to the research, which revealed the number of athletes who had a cruciate ligament rupture in the period in which the study was carried out, which in turn reflected the shortcomings in terms of The warm-up prior to the start of the sport to be performed, this was the starting point in the development of an action plan, focused on providing a solution to the present scientific problem, which would lower the rate of patients with this injury. If the results obtained in the research are put into practice in the sports institution where the study was carried out, it would cause a positive and relevant impact on sports practice at the level of the province of Los Ríos, and would reduce the number of ligament ruptures.
