This work is mainly about determining if the inventory system that is currently being used in the company is adequate or not.LOPATRUCKS S.A es una empresa que se dedica enteramente a la venta al por mayor y menor de productos de limpieza, lubricantes, filtros y refrigerantes para el mantenimiento de vehículos automotrices, esta empresa tuvo sus inicios simplemente siendo una lavadora de carros y que actualmente se ha expandido abriendo nuevas puertas en el mercado laboral, cuenta con una sucursal en la E25 vía Babahoyo, su matriz ubicada en las calles ángel burgos y 28 de mayo y un completo interfaz de servicios puestos a disposición del cliente para mantener sus vehículos impecables. En la actualidad, las empresas que se dedican a la distribución de productos, muestran una gran necesidad de ir actualizando e innovando la manera de llevar el control de sus inventarios, básicamente lo hacen primero para evitar pérdidas a corto, mediano y largo plazo y segundo para satisfacer la necesidad del cliente de una manera eficiente y que siempre desee volver. Recordemos también que el no tener un correcto control del stock de su inventario provoca una importante disminución en sus utilidades.
