الملخص:With the objective of analyzing the capacity to solve problems in the Municipal Transit Agency of Babahoyo Canton, the analytical-synthetic method was used in this research, which allowed to detail the current situation of the ATM and to know the main problems that are evidenced through the technical instruments of information collection such as the interview applied to the General Manager and the survey to the collaborators of the agency where timely information was obtained for the research. One of the main problems that arise in the Municipal Transit Agency of Babahoyo Canton is the lack of resources generated by the poor management by the administrator of the agency, i.e., the necessary tools are not available to meet the demand for jobs, for example, the lack of instruments and the limited availability of motorcycles and vans for traffic agents makes it difficult to carry out their control functions generating a low work performance. Considering what the author states, it should be emphasized that a fundamental pillar for all organizations should be customer service, however, the Municipal Transit Agency of Babahoyo Canton does not present adequate attention and the negative consequences of not doing so directly affects users and the agency, since different mistakes are usually made that cause poor service, causing dissatisfaction in users making them think that customer service is not important for the agency. The Municipal Transit Agency of Babahoyo has difficulties in terms of its ability to solve problems, since it does not program campaigns for the citizens of Babahoyo, in which topics such as: community service, training, orientation, among others, nor does it provide its workers with the respective resources that are necessary for their efficient work performance inside or outside the agency's facilities.
