Adicionar Tag | Resumo: | The case study was developed with the objective of identifying the incidence of stress in the work performance of a 28-year-old police officer from the Pascuales District of the Guayaquil city, who has been triggering problems due to the excess stress he handles at all times. Daily as he was in a troubled area of the country. Stress is a silent disease that has gained strength over the years, which causes discomfort at a comprehensive level in the person, as well as affecting the performance of work activities. Stress has caused the patient to normalize and minimize events that have repercussions at a cognitive-affective, behavioral and somatic level, manifesting themselves with intrusive thoughts, persecutory ideas, distrust, among others. This case study has a mixed approach, collecting both qualitative and quantitative data through semi-structured interviews, clinical observations, tests and instruments. For this reason, activities were carried out through a psychotherapeutic scheme, with techniques that the patient can put into practice in stressful situations through CBT. |
