After presenting the proposal and its results.El presente Informe de Proyecto Profesional se ejecuta para determinar la incidencia de la reducción presupuestaria en el sector educación y la inseguridad en los planteles educativos al eliminar los presupuestos para los servicios de seguridad y vigilancia, situación que se agudizó con la pandemia al suspender las actividades presenciales, el trabajo de investigación se realiza en la Escuela de Educación Básica Juan E Verdesoto Amie 12H00096 del Circuito 12D01C05 perteneciente a la Dirección Distrital de Educación 12D01 Babahoyo, Baba y Montalvo, por ser una institución grande que se encuentra ubicada en el sector céntrico de la ciudad de Babahoyo y que cuenta con un inventario significativo de bienes muebles, demostrando el gran problema de inseguridad que enfrentan los establecimientos educativos urbanos y con mayor desamparo en el área rural. . Se realizó entrevista al Director de la Institución con el fin de conocer cuál es su opinión sobre la inseguridad en los Planteles Educativos, docentes y padres de familia coinciden que es preocupante la inseguridad que actualmente enfrentan las instituciones.
