SUMMARY The present experimental work was carried out in the greenhouse of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the Technical University of Babahoyo, belonging to the Province of Los Ríos. The geographic coordinates are 010 49 'south latitude and 79 ° 32' west longitude, 8 meters above sea level. Iniap 14 rice seed was used as seed material. The treatments studied were radicular weed exudates of Echinochloa colona, Digitaria sanguinalis, Cyperus rotundus, Amaranthus spp. and control without the use of root exudates. The experimental design called "Completely Random" was used with five treatments and six repetitions. All variables were evaluated with the Tukey statistical significance test at the 0.05 level. During the development of the crop, the following tasks and agricultural practices were carried out, such as elaboration of platabandas, sowing, location of the weeds, irrigation, fertilization, weed and phytosanitary control and harvesting. In the case of the variables in rice, the components were assessed as vigor, plant height, days to flowering, number of tillers and panicles, length and grains per panicles, weight of 100 grains, grain yield, root length, fresh and dry biomass of the root, fresh and dry biomass of the aerial part. From the results obtained, it was determined that the highest vigor of the plants was presented with root weed exudates of Amaranthus spp; plant height, days to flowering, number of tillers and panicles / platabandas, grains per panicle, stood out when root exudates were not used (Witness); the treatment with Amaranthus spp. obtained greater length of panicles; When no root exudates were used (Control), greater weight of 100 grains and yield was presented with 3516.5 kg / ha and the treatment with Echinochloa colona obtained greater root length, while the control treatment without root weed exudates showed greater weight of fresh and dry biomass of the root, fresh and dry biomass of the aerial part. |
