Tóm tắt:This study was made at the Luz del Mundo School of Basic Education, located in Ventana Canton, Los Ríos Province. We investigated the methodological strategies based on play corners for the development of children’s socialization, which responds to the problem that educators lack methods for playing work in different corners. The purpose of this research was to determine methodological strategies for developing the socialization of students in the classroom through play work. Qualitative methods were used in which related studies on the subject matter of research were analysed. The tool used was the observation sheet to understand how children use play corners to improve their social skills. And the interview with the aim of analyzing the views of the teacher regarding methodological strategies based on play corners for the development of children’s socialization. As a result, it is revealed that the methodological strategy based on game corners offered an integral educational experience where activities were addressed that enabled cognitive development and creativity. There was also a significant improvement in the social development of children, promoting skills such as problem solving. It was concluded that the methodological strategies based on game corners were an effective tool to promote social skills in children. These spaces, based on theoretical and natural learning principles, helped to face daily challenges.
