| Тойм: | In Ecuador, tobacco consumption, as in many countries, is a public health problem, because it generates serious diseases and high mortality rates. Tobacco is addictive, reason why the person who smokes (smoker) suffers a physical and psychological dependence that generates a withdrawal syndrome, which is known as smoking and is the main cause of avoidable death in the world. The consumption of snuff increases the risk of heart attacks, lung cancer, some factors such as social, economic, cultural, family and others, could affect the decision of an individual to smoke in Ecuador, through this Project wants to raise awareness, to society, about the dangers and negative effects that cause the consumption of tobacco and its addiction, as well as contribute to define, the importance of the problem, as a social phenomenon that manifests itself with serious consequences. Lung cancer (PC) is a complex disease, with a high incidence and high mortality, but preventable and treatable. It is characterized by the limitation of airflow due to the inflammatory response of the lungs due to harmful particles, such as those produced by tobacco, so this project aims to improve the quality of life of the San Javier community, since a significant percentage of the population has respiratory tract infections and 31% suffer from lung cancer, so it is important to provide the community with educational talks on tobacco and its possible consequences for health. |
