Respuesta a la aplicación de cuatro soluciones nutritivas en el cultivo hidropónico del berro (Nesturtium officinale L.), en el cantón Otavalo, provincia de Imbabura

In the present research the response to the application of four nutrient solutions in hydroponics cultivation watercress (Nesturtium offcinale L), in the canton Otavalo, Imbabura province in order to evaluate the agronomic performance of growing watercress evaluated hydroponics in different doses of nutrient solutions, identify the most effective dose in hydroponics crop production watercress and economically analyze the treatment given. The design of randomized complete block (RCBD) with three replications and five treatments was used. The experimental area was 32 m squared, five experimental plots 3-inch PVC pipe 3 m long 25 m useful area of the square were made, the variables plant height, stem sprouting was assessed, size root plant weight, yield and economic analysis. All variables were subjected to analysis of variance, using the Tukey test at the 0.05 level of significance to determine the difference between the measures of the study factors. The experimental results showed that the solution had the best agronomic performance compared to other solutions and the witness without application resulted Golden Fos 12-38-12 + micronutrient dose of 1 g / L; treatment which increased the highest number of outbreaks, height, weight and performance was the solution with Golden Fos 12-38-12 + Micronutrients at the end of the investigation, it was quite significant, contributing to improve production in hydroponics; It shows that in the treatment of Fos Golden 12-38-12 + Micronutrients solution had the highest economic income to 270.1 % profit.
