Análisis de Requerimientos para la Implementación de un Software que permita controlar la Gestión Académica de la Unidad Educativa Caracol del Cantón Babahoyo.

The Caracol Educational Unit is the only educational center in the Caracol parish, which offers its services to the community since 1980, being at the beginning a secondary education institution called Colegio Nacional Caracol, and finally, since 2013, it will merge with the school José Joaquín de Olmedo turn it into an institution that provides the services of Initial Education, Basic Education and the Bachillerato. Currently, most of the Educational Institutions use technology to carry out academic management, using the new IT and telecommunications trends, using them in the processes of organizations in general. However, in the Caracol Educational Unit of the Babahoyo Canton some processes are carried out manually, so it has been possible to demonstrate that it is necessary to implement software that allows to control the academic activities of the institution, such as the registration of student enrollment. , because although it is true the enrollment of students is automatic through the Ministry of Education, the institution requests registration through cards to update information from period to academic period by doing it manually and in this way they get to have too much redundant information.
