Samenvatting:The present clinical case is based on eclampsia, a serious complication of hypertensive disorders in pregnancy, one of the pathologies with the highest maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality, it is of great importance to maintain adequate follow-up within prenatal controls to document the presence of risk factors, signs and symptoms that lead us to a possible diagnosis as well as severity criteria to avoid reaching phases as critical as Eclampsia. Research points to the origin of hypertensive disorders as indefinite due to their different forms of presentation during pregnancy, it is emphasized that the possible origin is due to the narrowing of the spiral arteries that are connected to the placenta and the fetus, this narrowing produces a decrease in the adequate blood supply and the elements that make it up, causing prematurity, low birth weight, eclampsia not only manifests itself with elevations in blood pressure, unlike preeclampsia, it is accompanied by tonic-clonic seizures. In the present case study, THE PROCESS OF NURSING CARE IN PREGNANT WOMEN OF 37.2 WEEKS OF GESTATION WITH ECLAMPSIA was applied through the collection of information through the signs and symptoms of the patient, functional patterns to achieve adequate interventions in based on the needs, which evolved favorably during the hospital stay.
