Summary:The work entitled psychosocial factors of the family environment and its influence on the learning process of the Educational Unit, "Juan Leon Mera" of the canton Montalvo, collects diagnostic results that reveal the situation of children under study in relation to their psychosocial development It also covers the relevance of the learning activities that teachers use for their development. For the development of programmed research, methods of the theoretical level and the empirical level of scientific research were used, as well as methods derived from mathematics and statistics. The scientific result obtained (elements for the elaboration of a strategy aimed at promoting the psychosocial development of children), with which it is intended to contribute to the integral development of this educational community. Arriving at conclusions that of being taken into account by the pertinent authorities, could contribute to a great extent to the elevation of the quality of life in the group subject of study.
