Unos de los aspectos más resaltantes son las redes sociales que han permitido conectar al mundo llevado a otro nivel la manera de comunicar, durante las protestas por el decreto 883, estos nuevos mecanismos de información cogieron protagonismo por ser el único medio que permitía brindar noticias reales e inmediatas de lo que ocurría en aquel momento, las imágenes y videos circulados en redes anunciaban la triste historia que Ecuador vivo en esos instantes.
