Dodaj oznaku | Sažetak: | The objective of the research is to analyze the diversity and population fluctuation of ladybugs (Col: Coccinellidae) present in the San Pablo experimental farm in the Babahoyo canton. The methodology used for the analysis begins with the collection of samples from 4 selected areas within the experimental farm, which were carried out in the months of June and July, where the individuals belonging to the Coccinellidae family were separated and compared with taxonomic keys. The results obtained were analyzed, of which only 37 of the 40 samples were effective, which is why it was determined that there are two main subfamilies and several genera that are important in several crops in the country such as rice, citrus, corn, among others. It was concluded that factors such as relative humidity, temperature and availability of prey affect the presence or absence of populations of the different genera. |
