Nosocomial pneumonia is a pulmonary infection in which the alveolar sacs present in the lungs become inflamed and may contain liquid or pus. The signs and symptoms of this pathology are a productive cough with greenish-colored sputum, temperature rise, chills and the characteristic shortness of breath, this pathology can be caused by a variety of microorganisms such as viruses and bacteria, and can also vary and present clinical pictures from mild to severe depending on the patient's condition such as age and chronic diseases. |
