Summary:Vocational guidance programs are a relevant topic for students who are about to complete high school, since it will be important because it will significantly influence academic decisions in the future and they will be able to defend themselves in the educational field and in the world of work. This research aims to determine the incidence of vocational guidance programs on academic decisions in 10th year EGB students of the Juan E. Verdesoto Educational Unit, Academic Period 2024-2025. In this case, the quantitative approach was based on the collection of (registered) data that will allow an understanding and interpretation of the study. The survey is a tool used to obtain information and opinions from a group of people on a specific topic. The questionnaire consists of a series of questions that allows the researcher to obtain real data on the topic of study, so the students and teachers of the ´´Juan E. Verdesoto´´ Educational Unit must answer said questionnaire. The use of these programs will allow students to find their own vocation in the institutions and will help in the personal development of each student. Finally, these programs ensure a constant improvement in positivity since these vocational guidance programs will promote comprehensive support and personal development of students, this also helps students make accurate and informed academic decisions.
