Pensamientos automáticos y su influencia en la ansiedad generalizada en paciente diagnosticado con covid-19 en el Centro de Salud Chimbo en el cantón San José de Chimbo en la Provincia Bolívar

The present case study was carried out with the objective of identifying the influence of automatic thoughts in Generalized Anxiety Disorder using Cognitive Behavioral Techniques in a patient diagnosed with covid-19. In this way, the methodology used in this work is aimed at the scientific investigation of variables such as: Automatic thoughts and generalized anxiety disorder which are exposed in this case study, in addition, the use of different techniques was required of cognitive behavioral therapy, which allowed the proposed objective to be fulfilled in an optimal way to later provide the corresponding therapy to the patient through a therapeutic plan which includes a cognitive restructuring plan aimed at those thoughts that the patient presented during the psychological intervention in such a way that the necessary therapeutic process was carried out to modify them in order for the patient to overcome his problem and improve his personal and social quality of life.
