| Summary: | VIII. SUMMARY The research was conducted in the area of San Pedro de Huaca is located in the province of Carchi, in the following coordinates 00 ° 24 '35 "north latitude and 77 ° 43' 35" west longitude at an altitude 2,950 meters over level sea. Climatic and meteorological characteristics are temperature 13.5 ° C, relative humidity 80%, 637.74 mm precipitation. Where Response of two varieties of chia (Salvia hispanica L.), chemical and organic fertilization was assessed. It studies eight treatments, result from the combination of the factors; varieties (Black and White), fertilizer types (organic, chemistry, organic chemistry + without application). Design Randomized Complete Block (DRCB) was applied, combined factorial arrangement (A X B) with specific treatments were included for a total of 8 treatments and three replications, whit a total of 24 experimental units. The total area of 963 m2 was, experimental unit area of 20 m2, 9 m2 net area, distance between blocks 1.50m, distance between roads, 1m. They were evaluated; germination percentage, plant height, plant diameter, days to flowering, panicle length, days to harvest, weight per volume of seed, performance analysis and treatments economically. Obtained statistical significance in the response of two varieties of chia (Salvia hispanica L.), chemical and organic fertilization, statistical analysis was performed using Duncan test at 5% probability. In the results it showed that the black variety with application of organic fertilizer (manure), had the highest adaptability to respond positively to the variables, days to flowering, days to harvest, by weight per volume of seed yield and economic utility of 13210 USD / ha. |
