Resumo:Hellp syndrome is a complication of preeclampsia, the same that can occur between weeks 27 and 37 weeks of gestation, causing liver, kidney and brain damage if it is not diagnosed and treated in time. For your respective diagnosis we have to make a good medical history, then perform the complementary exams in order to rule out or confirm the diagnosis. Hellp syndrome, when it causes damage at the renal level, this organ is no longer functioning properly, so the patient must have dialysis in a very extreme case. In order to know if there is renal involvement, it can be confirmed with laboratory tests because creatinine will be found in the urinary flow. And not only kidney damage is detected but also liver damage, which due to this damage liver enzymes rise.
