| Περίληψη: | Introduction. The consumption of drugs, both legal and illegal, has become a serious problem of global public health, which is generating negative consequences not only in the individual sphere of the consumer, but also at the family level and society. General objective. Establish the existing relationship between risk factors and the consumption of illicit drugs in the Barrio Lindo, Babahoyo Sector of Los Ríos province in the period from October 2018 to April 2019. Methodology. Research with qualitative-quantitative, field, exploratory and descriptive approach, for the purpose was applied and not experimental and cross-sectional. Information gathering techniques were used as unscientific scientific observation, direct and survey; A questionnaire was applied as an instrument. A sample of 65 adolescents was studied, sampling was intentionally non-probabilistic, fulfilling inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results. Adolescents with low income (70.8%), with anxiety disorders (43.1%), depression (38.4%), in a home with psychological abuse (69.2%), absent parents (56.9%) %), affective deprivation (46.1%) and family alcoholism (41.5%), adolescents consuming alcohol (66.2%), drugs (70.8%) to forget the problems and dislikes (94.5%) ) and by pressure from friends (89.1%), marijuana users (48.5%), and as a result respiratory tract irritation (85%), they do not receive guidance on drugs (70.8%), and those who receive it are from the school (52.6%). Conclusions. The risk factors for consumption in the Barrio Lindo sector are adolescents as a risk group, the fact of being part of families with low income, suffering from disorders such as anxiety and depression, belonging to families where psychological abuse exists, parents absent, affective lack and family alcoholism. |
