In conclusion, the importance lies in the ability of genetic improvement to select and develop sugarcane varieties that exhibit desirable characteristics, such as greater resistance to pests and diseases, greater sucrose yield, and adaptation to specific growing conditions. |

En resultados, la relevancia de las tecnologías de mejoramiento genético en el cultivo de caña de azúcar se manifiesta de manera significativa en la optimización de diversos aspectos clave para la producción agrícola, estas tecnologías permiten la manipulación genética de la caña de azúcar con el objetivo de mejorar características específicas como rendimiento, resistencia a plagas y enfermedades.
