SUMMARY This research was conducted on the grounds of the Technical University of Babahoyo, located in the 7½ Km of road Babahoyo - Montalvo; with geographical coordinates of 79 ° 32 'west longitude and 01 ° 49' south latitude and an altitude of 8 m.s.n.m. The place has a tropical climate with an average temperature of 25.5 0C, an average annual rainfall of 22791.4 mm / year, relative humidity of 76% and 1006.1 hours heliophany annual average. As the hybrid genetic material was used Santa Cruz, whose objectives were to describe the agronomic performance of hybrid carrot subjected to each of the sheets of irrigation; determine the appropriate sheet irrigation in the cultivation and economically analyze treatments. Treatments are formed by several sheets irrigation 600, 700, 800 and 1000 mm. design of experiment was used randomized complete block with four treatments and three repetitions. Tukey test at 5% probability was used for the evaluation and comparison of means. For crop development tasks soil analysis they were carried out; water analysis; site preparation; sowing; irrigation; fertilization; weed control; insect and disease control; harvest. Percentage data were evaluated emergency; plant height at 45, 60, 120 days and harvest; sheet numbers 45, 60, 120 days root length at harvest; diameter shoulder root crop; plant weight and root weight cracked; roots harvested yield and economic analysis By the above results it was concluded that the highest percentage of engraftment was presented with 800 mm of irrigation depth; the highest plant height from 45 days to harvest, like the greater number of leaves was obtained by applying a sheet of irrigation of 800 mm; 700 mm sheet using irrigation better root length and diameter shoulder root harvest was achieved; the highest root weight was reported with a sheet of 1000 mm irrigation and the highest yield and the highest net profit was obtained with irrigation depth of 800 mm. |
