Currently, it is considered that biosafety standards have been called the most common practices within pig farms, despite the fact that there are many producers who do not have the necessary resources to be able to comply with correct sanitary maintenance; It should be noted that in some cases they do not have correct information on biosafety standards. Among the proposed solutions is providing training to producers who do not have correct knowledge of how important biosecurity measures are within pork production. And finally, based on the information collected, we conclude that biosafety is characterized by presenting a series of measures designed to prevent the entry of agents that could cause problems in our production. Through the use of biosafety standards, we will be able to improve reproductive and productive parameters. In addition, it is recommended to implement vaccination programs in order to prevent specific diseases. |

In addition, it is recommended to implement vaccination programs in order to prevent specific diseases.El presente trabajo consistió en un estudio bibliográfico acerca de las normas de bioseguridad en las granjas porcícolas del Ecuador, las cuales no son ejecutadas por falta de conocimientos en diversos porcicultores. El objetivo de este documento es analizar los aspectos más relevantes de las normas de bioseguridad aplicadas en las producciones porcinas y describir cual es el protocolo más utilizado. La metodología con la que se realizó este trabajo es por el método inductivo-deductivo, a través de artículos científicos, tesis y entre otros. Actualmente está considerado que las normas de bioseguridad han sido denominadas las prácticas más comunes dentro de las granjas porcinas, a pesar de que existen muchos productores que no cuentan con los recursos necesarios para poder cumplir con un correcto mantenimiento sanitario; cabe señalar, que alguna en ciertos casos no disponen de información correcta sobre las normas de bioseguridad. Entre las soluciones planteadas se tiene brindar capacitaciones a productores que no cuentan con un conocimiento correcto de lo importante que son las medidas de bioseguridad dentro de una producción porcina. Y finalmente basándonos en la información recopilada llegamos a la conclusión que la bioseguridad se caracteriza por presentar una serie de medidas diseñadas para evitar el ingreso de agentes que podrían causar problemas en nuestra producción, mediante el uso de las normas de bioseguridad se va a lograr mejorar los parámetros reproductivos y productivos.
