Opis
Izvleček:Achilles tendinopathy is a common injury in athletes, affecting their performance and quality of life. The aim is to implement an effective physiotherapeutic approach for its treatment, from this point the need to develop a comprehensive therapeutic approach that promotes optimal recovery and relapse prevention in these athletes. The objective of this study is to determine how the physiotherapeutic approach acts in the treatment of Achilles tendinopathy in athletes aged 15 to 20 years, in addition a descriptive, cross-sectional study was applied, where athletes with Achilles tendinopathy will be evaluated by means of pain questionnaires, The results obtained were a low score in the VISA-A below 50, which is evidence of a weighting associated with a moderate to severe level of Achilles tendinopathy, which decreases the normal functioning of activities involving the Achilles tendon, In conclusion, the need to implement a timely and effective physiotherapeutic approach for Achilles tendinopathy in athletes is highlighted. This physiotherapeutic approach acts in the treatment of Achilles tendinopathy through a combination of strategies and interventions aimed at reducing pain, improving tendon function and promoting active and comprehensive rehabilitation of the patient.
