Artículo 23 de la Ley Orgánica de Comunicación y los programas emitidos en el Canal de Televisión Maná Tv, 2019

Everything that is disseminated to an individual in full rights through a means of communication has to be verified, timely and contextualized in order to avoid subsequent responsibilities such as slander or insult or misdemeanour communication are subject to mistakes, the most common are to issue information that is not always real or has been distorted. The main objective of this project was to determine the influence of Article 23 of the Organic Law on Communication on the programs broadcast on the Maná Tv television channel, 2019. It was determined that the inhabitants of the canton La Maná mostly have knowledge of the right to rectification, however, they are unaware of the laws governing this right, resulting in most unaware of Article 23 of the Organic Communication Law. Likewise, all respondents agree that the channel should take administrative sanctions if erroneous information that was not verified is issued. It was possible to determine that on the Mana Tv 45 channel the right to rectification has been issued by applying article 23 of the Organic Communication Law, the same requested by citizens with affinities or belonging to political parties, the corrections were approved and disclosed in the same space and time they were issued. It was proposed to create communication guide for verification of information for the Maná TV Channel in which strategies are specified to help comply with the rights to communication and information prescribed in the Organic Communication Law.
