Conventional agriculture faces challenges, such as the increase in world population, the intensification of monocropping and the loss of soil fertility. Sustainable agriculture promotes agriculture that promotes soil health, the biodiversity of flora and fauna and the conservation of natural resources and the health of the producer and consumer. The objective of this work is to indicate the benefits and positive environmental impacts on producers with sustainable agricultural practices. Sustainable development is important because of the environmental, social and economic challenges that farmers face. Economic growth and conservation of the agricultural environment with these types of practices minimize negative impacts on the environment, the farmer and the consumer. This type of agriculture allows us to harvest food in a safe way, promoting a production model that does not compromise natural resources in the medium or long term. However, the greatest impact of sustainable agriculture is in its production costs, and it is the government that, thanks to its training and the support of citizens, sustainable agriculture becomes profitable and healthy agriculture for everyone. |
