In summary, the case study analyzes the need to design a computer system that uses geolocation technology to improve the security of the personnel of the Is@net company in the Montalvo canton. The Montalvo canton is a risk area, marked by high rates of criminal activity. This creates an environment hostile to any type of activity, including those related to technology and telecommunications. Internet workers, such as maintenance technicians, engineers, and support staff, in these areas face a variety of threats, from theft and assault to kidnapping and extortion. The main objective of the case study is to design a computer system that uses geolocation technology to improve the security of Is@net personnel in the Montalvo Canton. The system would allow real-time monitoring of the location of employees, which would facilitate the detection of risk situations and the immediate response of the authorities. The case study adopts a mixed approach, combining qualitative and bibliographic research. Interviews with experts in the field of security in challenging situations will provide valuable qualitative perspective on information systems, their analysis and design. The literature review will be based on the analysis of existing literature related to security in similar environments. The results of the case study will be used to design a computer system that meets the specific requirements of Is@net. The system is expected to provide an effective solution to improve the security of company personnel in the Montalvo Canton. In particular, the case study addresses the following aspects: The importance of Designing Software with integration of other devices that provide security to company personnel.- The advantages of using geolocation and artificial intelligence technology to improve security.- The risks faced by internet workers in risk areas.- The results of the case study may be of interest to other companies that operate in risk areas and wish to verify some analysis based on the design of Security Management Software.
