| Summary: | The development of this research is framed in the use of the use of methodological strategies in the teaching-learning processes in the area of mathematics in students of 4th year of Basic General Education of the Educational Unit ''Adolfo María Astudillo'', to in order to carry out a motivating and significant teaching-learning process. The process of learning and teaching mathematics has become in recent years a highly complex and tedious task, methodological strategies help improve the inter-learning of mathematics where students develop their critical thinking and reasoning skills, thereby avoiding mechanical-repetitive learning. Due to the use of learning strategies, these favor the performance of the different subjects in the students and also improve their possibilities of work and study, educators must keep in mind that they are responsible for facilitating the learning process through methodological strategies. and techniques that stimulate the educational action to achieve significant learning and attract the attention of the student. The problem arises from the experiences of the author in educational centers and especially from the concern of the academic performance of the fourth year students in the area of mathematics, for which the need was seen to carry out a methodological strategy based on the methodological currents that contributes to improve learning in this area. Since in students it is important to develop pedagogical strategies according to their school age, in order to achieve the objective of training in the apprentice, in addition, the methodological strategies seek to develop creativity in students within the teaching-learning processes. Finally, the main purpose of this research is to address the problem focused on the cognitive development of students through the application of appropriate methodological strategies, thus achieving that the methodological change in the teaching processes in the area of education serves the institution. the maths. |
