These diseases have become a public health problem since morbidity has been growing, so much so that it has arrived to occupy the first places in emergent care and primary care, the objective of our study work is “to determine the relationship between passive smoking and acute respiratory infections in children aged 5 to 10 years of the Puerta Negra citadel of the Babahoyo canton, during October 2019 - March 2020 ”whose methodological structure is the following historical-logical with qualitative approach, within our results we have: that 82% do not know the problems that smoke causes, this is because there is no entity that take charge of imparting the necessary knowledge about the problems caused by cigarette smoke, and much less the methods of prevention of acute respiratory infections, and to solve this problem it is necessary to apply a proposal whose theme is “Educational talks on care and prevention of acute respiratory infections in children aged 5 to 10 years of the Puerta Negra citadel”, as well as This way you can improve the quality of life in this sector. |
