| Resumo: | The subject "Analysis of the incidence of Canine Parvovirus in dogs" had as specific objectives to determine the susceptibility of dogs to canine parvovirus according to age and describe the diagnostic methods for detection of canine parvovirus, which arose from the problem. that present that canines present, especially when they live in overcrowding, recognition that the main clinical signs that the animals present are the temperatura that oscillates between 40° to 41°, abundant bloody diarrhea, vomiting, flatulence, among other signs. In the bibliographic review, the theoretical foundations that strengthened the study based on the two variables that identified the susceptibility and the diagnostic methods of canine parvovirosis as analysis points to determine the incidence of this virus. In the methodology, the deductive method that started from the general to the particular was applied, it is a non-experimental study, with a qualitative, descriptive scope. In the results of the bibliographic review, it was identified that the susceptibility of canine parvovirus occurs more frequently in puppies from 0 months to less than one year of age, emphasized in an interesting finding that the vaccination plan should be controlled as a form of prevention., particularly in females of childbearing age and that are not linked because it can spread transplacentally. In conclusion, when veterinarians observe gastrointestinal symptoms, they can apply the blood test to control the counts of white blood cells, red blood cells and platelets and/or they can use the parvovirus rapid kit test with the collection of the patient's feces to diagnose efficient if the canine is infected or not. Dogs that are most susceptible to parvovirus are large breeds, including Pitbulls, Rottweilers, Golden Retrievers, Labradors, Springer Spaniels, and Doberman Pinschers. |
